Dancing and Peforming arts
Bedford Performers: Led by mother and daughter piano and dance teachers, based in Nailsea, near Bristol in the UK.As well as teaching all age groups piano and dance, we periodically stage shows that enable our pupils to perform their new skills. It is our aim to donate any profit from these shows to a locally based charity.
Jazz On tap: Local dance classes taught by experienced professional dance teacher Michelle Bedford A.I.S.T.D, M.B.T.D.A, for Fun and Fitness in Nailsea and Portishead. Everyones welcome, Male and Female, No experience needed. Jazz from ages 3, Adult Jazz, Adult Tap. Optional Displays, Eistedfods and Performance Medals.
Bristol School Of Dancing: The Bristol School of Dancing enjoys the proud boast of being the West Country's largest, most successful, and longest established Dance Academy. The School is in the privileged position to have been asked to provide and train children for professional productions at The Bristol hippodrome for over 50 Years.
Bristol School Of Performing Arts: The school covers all aspects of Theatre and Television training, employing without doubt the largest and most varied pool of talented tutors, many of whom are industry professionals. Because of its size and the high regard in which it is held by all the major agencies and producing managements, the School is able to boast a veritable 'Who's who' amongst its seemingly never-ending list of professional productions both in theatre and television.
The basis of the School’s teaching philosophy is “Education through Performance”
Nailsea Musicals: Nailsea Musicals started in 1977, as Nailsea Musical Comedy Club, with a performance of the musical "Oliver!" in 1979. The Society has gone from strength to strength in the past thirty years and now performs three or four shows each season. They have a strong membership spread over three sections: Minis, Juniors and Adults. Each year, the Minis and Juniors normally perform at least one main production and a small concert. The Adults are just as busy, performing one or two main productions each year as well as one or two concerts.
Bands
Doctor Chocolate: Doctor Chocolate play only the very best of soul, rock and party cover hits from the 1960’s to present day chart numbers. When Doctor Chocolate play the audience can be confident of a fully professional performance with a top of the range PA system, lighting set up and 9 musicians who are enthusiastic and enthralling to watch.
Red Dust road: RED DUST ROAD are an Acoustic Pop Rock band from Bristol, UK. Formed under the summer sun of July 2010; the band’s music is based around the songs of singer/songwriter Matt Reynolds. For many years Reynolds has played around the UK doing solo acoustic shows comprising songs that he has been writing and collecting for the last ten years.
Choirs
Bristol Choral Society: Bristol Choral Society is a thriving mixed voice choir with 180 singing members and a wide range of ages. First established in 1889 Bristol Choral Society is conducted by Adrian Partington, one of the UK's foremost choral conductors.
Events
Nailsea folk Club: They have regular Concert Nights at the Ring o’ Bells, normally on the third Friday of the month but with many others fitted in around. They have featured famous Irish bands, African mbira, Russian gypsy, Delta Blues, Folk Rock, Aussies, Canadians as well as the best of British – great solo artists to seven piece bands. When booking, we look for variety, interest, excellent musicianship and an ability to entertain and communicate. Live music at its most intimate.
Orchestras
Nailsea concert Orchestra: The Nailsea Concert Orchestra is a small orchestra whose members are local amateurs who enjoy playing classical and light music together. Most of the members live in the Nailsea and North Somerset area; they welcome all players of any age who are able to commit to regular rehearsals. There is no set standard for players joining us. Our members have a wide range of playing ability, from Grade V through to post grade VIII. An individual's ability is less important than their committment to rehearse regularly.
Piano tuning
Dave Steel: Dave Steel Pianos is an established small Bristol based business with over 20 years experience providing a service both to the public and the trade. Specialising in all aspects of restoration ranging from tuning and simple repairs, to complete rebuilds. As restoration is conducted from a workshop on home premises, overheads are kept to a minimum and therefore prices are at competitive rates.

Dance MIDI Samples is a leading expert in the music sample production, providing a range of loops, samples and packs across a variety of genres including house, dance, techno, electro and dubstep to music producers and disc jockeys across the UK and beyond.
Venues
Arnolfini: Exhibitions, film, performance, dance, music, literature, talks and events. At the heart of Bristol's harbourside, Arnolfini is one of Europe's leading centres for the contemporary arts. Entry to the galleries is free.
Colston Hall: The people of Bristol have been enjoying music at Colston Hall for almost 140 years. As they embark on a major redevelopment of the hall they have captured some of the stories of Colston Hall and begun to create a lasting record about the legends that have played at the hall and the amazing times Bristol people have experienced there.
The Croft: Since opening in 2002, The Croft has established itself at the forefront of forward thinking programming in Bristol, whilst at the same time maintaining an uncompromising underground ethos. With two seperate live rooms, The Croft regularly hosts up to fourteen gigs (and two club nights) a week, with an ‘anything goes’ approach towards musical genre.
The Louisiana: The Louie showcases a wide range of international, national and local live acts – some might say it’s a good place to discover new music before anyone else.
The Thekla: The Thekla is Bristol’s only music venue and nightclub on a boat! From toe-tapping live americana to the downright dirtiest dubstep this side of London and everything inbetween, they have all your musical needs covered. They play host to the cream of the city’s weekly club nights as well as prime promoters on rotation every Friday. Plus national and international touring live acts every week.
